2. Überblick

PV Wizard ist eine App zur Planung von Photovoltaikanlagen. Wir legen großen Wert auf den Schutz deiner Daten. Diese Datenschutzerklärung informiert dich darüber, welche Daten bei der Nutzung der App verarbeitet werden.

3. Welche Daten werden verarbeitet?

3.1 Projektdaten

Alle Eingaben im Wizard (Dachmaße, Ausrichtung, Neigung, Modulkonfiguration, Wirtschaftlichkeitsdaten) werden ausschließlich lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert (SwiftData). Es erfolgt keine Übertragung an unsere Server.

3.2 Standortdaten

Die App kann deinen Standort per GPS erfassen, um die Sonneneinstrahlung an deinem Standort zu berechnen. Dies geschieht nur, wenn du die Standortfreigabe in iOS/macOS explizit erteilst. Die Koordinaten werden:

lokal in deinem Projekt gespeichert
an den PVGIS-Dienst übermittelt (siehe 3.4)
nicht an unsere eigenen Server gesendet

Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO (Einwilligung über iOS-/macOS-Berechtigungsdialog).

3.3 Bewegungsdaten (Sensoren)

Die App nutzt den Beschleunigungssensor (Inklinometer) zur Messung der Dachneigung und den Kompass zur Bestimmung der Ausrichtung. Diese Sensordaten werden ausschließlich in Echtzeit angezeigt und nicht gespeichert oder übertragen.

3.4 PVGIS-Abfrage (externer Dienst)

Zur Berechnung des Solarertrags sendet die App eine Anfrage an den PVGIS-Dienst der Europäischen Kommission:

Bei fehlender Internetverbindung nutzt die App eine Offline-Berechnung – es werden dann keine Daten übertragen.

3.5 In-App-Käufe

Der Kauf von „PV Wizard Pro" wird vollständig über Apple (StoreKit) abgewickelt. Wir erhalten keine Zahlungsdaten. Apple verarbeitet die Transaktionsdaten gemäß der Apple-Datenschutzrichtlinie.

4. Welche Daten werden NICHT erhoben?

Keine Nutzerkonten oder Registrierung
Keine Werbe-IDs oder Tracking
Keine Analyse- oder Crashreporting-Dienste
Keine Cookies
Keine Weitergabe an Dritte (außer PVGIS-Abfrage, siehe 3.4)

5. Datenspeicherung und Löschung

Alle Projektdaten werden lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert. Du kannst einzelne Projekte jederzeit in der App löschen. Bei Deinstallation der App werden alle lokalen Daten automatisch entfernt.

6. Deine Rechte (DSGVO)

Du hast das Recht auf:

Auskunft über gespeicherte Daten (Art. 15 DSGVO)
Berichtigung unrichtiger Daten (Art. 16 DSGVO)
Löschung deiner Daten (Art. 17 DSGVO)
Einschränkung der Verarbeitung (Art. 18 DSGVO)

Da alle Daten lokal auf deinem Gerät liegen, hast du jederzeit die volle Kontrolle.

2. Overview

PV Wizard is an app for planning photovoltaic systems. We take the protection of your data seriously. This privacy policy explains which data is processed when you use the app.

In brief:

No user account required
No advertising, no tracking, no analytics tools
All project data stays locally on your device
Location data is accessed only with your permission

3. Which data is processed?

3.1 Project data

All entries in the wizard (roof dimensions, orientation, tilt, module configuration, economic data) are stored exclusively locally on your device (SwiftData). No data is transmitted to our servers.

3.2 Location data

The app can capture your location via GPS to calculate solar irradiation at your site. This happens only if you explicitly grant location access in iOS/macOS. The coordinates are:

stored locally in your project
transmitted to the PVGIS service (see 3.4)
not sent to our own servers

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / UK GDPR (consent via the iOS/macOS permission dialog).

3.3 Motion data (sensors)

The app uses the accelerometer (inclinometer) to measure roof tilt and the compass to determine orientation. This sensor data is displayed in real time only and is not stored or transmitted.

3.4 PVGIS request (external service)

To calculate the solar yield, the app sends a request to the PVGIS service operated by the European Commission:

No personal data (no name, no device ID)

If there is no internet connection, the app uses an offline calculation – no data is transmitted in that case.

3.5 In-app purchases

The purchase of “PV Wizard Pro” is handled entirely through Apple (StoreKit). We receive no payment data. Apple processes the transaction data in accordance with the Apple Privacy Policy.

4. Which data is NOT collected?

No user accounts or registration
No advertising IDs or tracking
No analytics or crash-reporting services
No cookies
No sharing with third parties (except the PVGIS request, see 3.4)

5. Data storage and deletion

All project data is stored locally on your device. You can delete individual projects in the app at any time. When you uninstall the app, all local data is removed automatically.

6. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

access the data stored about you (Art. 15)
rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
erasure of your data (Art. 17)
restriction of processing (Art. 18)
withdraw consent you have given (Art. 7(3))
lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77) – in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO); in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission (DPC)

Because all data is held locally on your device, you have full control at all times.

3. Quali dati vengono trattati?

3.1 Dati di progetto

Tutti i dati inseriti nel wizard (dimensioni del tetto, orientamento, inclinazione, configurazione dei moduli, dati economici) vengono memorizzati esclusivamente in locale sul tuo dispositivo (SwiftData). Non avviene alcuna trasmissione ai nostri server.

3.2 Dati di posizione

L'app può rilevare la tua posizione tramite GPS per calcolare l'irraggiamento solare nel tuo sito. Ciò avviene solo se concedi esplicitamente l'autorizzazione alla posizione in iOS/macOS. Le coordinate vengono:

memorizzate localmente nel tuo progetto
trasmesse al servizio PVGIS (vedi 3.4)
non inviate ai nostri server

Base giuridica: art. 6, par. 1, lett. a) GDPR (consenso tramite la finestra di autorizzazione di iOS/macOS).

3.3 Dati di movimento (sensori)

L'app utilizza l'accelerometro (inclinometro) per misurare l'inclinazione del tetto e la bussola per determinare l'orientamento. Questi dati dei sensori vengono mostrati solo in tempo reale e non vengono memorizzati né trasmessi.

3.4 Richiesta PVGIS (servizio esterno)

Per calcolare la resa solare, l'app invia una richiesta al servizio PVGIS della Commissione europea:

3.5 Acquisti in-app

L'acquisto di “PV Wizard Pro” viene gestito interamente tramite Apple (StoreKit). Non riceviamo alcun dato di pagamento. Apple tratta i dati della transazione conformemente all'Informativa sulla privacy di Apple.

4. Quali dati NON vengono raccolti?

5. Conservazione e cancellazione dei dati

Tutti i dati di progetto vengono memorizzati in locale sul tuo dispositivo. Puoi eliminare i singoli progetti nell'app in qualsiasi momento. Disinstallando l'app, tutti i dati locali vengono rimossi automaticamente.

6. I tuoi diritti (GDPR)

Hai diritto a:

rettifica dei dati inesatti (art. 16 GDPR)
cancellazione dei tuoi dati (art. 17 GDPR)
